Lititz Home 'Total Loss', Fire Closes Road: Police, Fire Marshal (Photos; Video)

A large house fire closed down part of a road in Lititz on Friday, authorities said.

First arriving crews arrived to find heavy fire from the roof and requested the second alarm. Due to its location Tankers had to be used to bring water into the scene.

The fire broke out at the home in the 900 block of Disston View Drive in Warwick Township, Lititz at 9:12 a.m. according to Lancaster County Wide Communications on Feb. 9.

The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police asked people to avoid the area as crews worked to extinguish the fire.

No injuries have been reported, although the fire marshal said the home is a "total loss."
